It is so easy to enjoy wine when you’re indoors. You can select your best wine glasses, lay everything you need out on a steady table, not have to worry about leaves and such getting in your drink and then you can easily wash up when you’ve finished. Drinking outside may not be as comfortable. However, in the summer months there is nothing better than getting out into the sun and having a glass of wine. Here is some advice on how to make this reality as painless as possible

Travel bags. The most important thing to consider is to be able to transport your wine safely and keeping it cold. Heavy wine bottles tend to squash everything else that is in the bag so it is important to try and keep them in a cool bag. Acrylic glasses. You really do not want to be taking glass drinking vessels with you when you go somewhere outdoors for a drink. There is always a risk in breaking these very fragile items and they can be pretty heavy so I would be wary when travelling large distances. Cheap plastic glasses always alter the taste of good tasting wine so it might be an idea to try and purchase something like high quality acrylic glasses which wont be as bad

Disposable Dinnerware. It’s pretty common to take some food with you if you are drinking outside and much the same as with the wine glasses, you don’t want to bring your best quality heavy dinnerware. On top of this you don’t have to wash them up afterwards. There are special clothes that you can purchase for cleaning your wine glasses and you can normally get these from any food or drink shop in town
